My name is Carrie-Anne McQuaid, I am honoured to be the coach of the new special needs team here at Limelight. Currently I am the Director of the Whipper Watson Therapeutic Pool at Southlake Regional Health Centre. I work in conjunction with the Childrens Treatment Network to provide a safe, fun environment for children and youth to receive physiotherapy.
Safety is a very important in any sport. With my background in physiotherapy and my passion for sports over the last 8 years I have been a club/team trainer for cheer, baseball and hockey.
Currently I am coaching16U AAA baseball in Vaughan. I also volunteer my time as the registrar for York Simcoe Baseball Association.
Some of my past coaching awards are; 2013 Coach of the year for York Simcoe Baseball, 2013 Coach of the year Ontario baseball Association, 2013 National Grassroots coach of the year and 2015 York Simcoe Baseball Assocition Presidents Award.
I joined the Limelight family in 2015 as a parent and am a member of the Whitelight parent team. I am looking forward to the 2016-2017 season.
